The ExpaBent® Rapid Palatal Expansor created to enhance our Expansor Series after several years of research. Our staff, along with a team of orthodontists and orthodontic laboratory owners, developed this unique product.
All 4 ExpaBent Rapida contain prebent arms which feature anatomical precision angulation. This results in a nearly precise fit for every patient, saving valuable fabrication time.
In addition, the ExpaBent is fabricated with Muscle ThreadTM. Unlike other manufacturers, the threads on our Expansors are created by extrusion from the hot metal during fabrication. This results in a precision thread which is free from nicks or burs, guaranteeing smooth opening of the Expansor.
As in all of our Expansors for fixed appliances, the arms of the ExpaBent are laser-welded into the body of the Expansor. This fusion of metals eliminates any possibility of the arms breaking away from the body. In addition, the laser-welding process does not utilize any brazing materials - a real plus for your sensitive patients! |
